The St. Louis Cardinals postponed Tuesday night's game with the visiting Kansas City Royals due to inclement weather.

The contest will be made up Wednesday with a split doubleheader at Busch Stadium, with the first game starting at 12:45 p.m. CT and the nightcap at 6:45 p.m. CT.

The Cardinals will start right-hander Andre Pallante (4-3, 4.00 ERA) in Game 1 with the Game 2 starter to be determined. Kansas City will start right-handers Alec Marsh (6-6, 4.57) in Game 1 and Michael Wacha (5-6, 3.74) in Game 2.

St. Louis (48-42) has won two straight and four of its last five games. Kansas City (49-43) has dropped four of its last five.

This is a two-game interleague series, with both teams scheduled for a day off on Thursday.
