San Antonio Spurs forward Jeremy Sochan and guard-forward Devin Vassell will miss the remainder of the season due to injuries, the team announced Monday afternoon.

Vassell underwent an MRI on Monday in San Antonio after missing Sunday night's 117-113 loss to the Golden State Warriors. The examination revealed a stress reaction to the third metatarsal head in his right foot, the team said.

Sochan was diagnosed with a left ankle impingement when he was ruled out at halftime of the Spurs' 130-126 overtime win against the New York Knicks on Friday. He also missed Sunday's game. The Spurs said arthroscopic surgery is the best course of action after consulting with the team's doctors and outside experts.

Sochan, 20, played in San Antonio's first 74 games this season, starting 73, and averaged 11.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

Drafted ninth overall by the Spurs in 2022 out of Baylor, he earned All-Rookie honors in 2022-23 with 11.0 points, 5.3 boards and 2.5 assists in 56 games (53 starts).

Vassell, 23, was the 11th overall pick of the 2020 draft out of Florida State. He averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 68 games (62 starts) this season while shooting a career-high 47.2 percent from the field. For his four-year career, Vassell is averaging 13.6 points, 3.7 boards, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steals.
