Ganguly identified India and Australia as the top contenders for the upcoming global showcase. Despite the unpredictability posed by unfamiliar playing surfaces in the USA, Ganguly remains confident in the capabilities of both teams.

“India and Australia the two best teams of the tournament. I’m sure they will do the same thing in the USA and the West Indies,” Ganguly was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.
