Krunal Pandya, attempting to accelerate the scoring, pushed a full delivery towards mid-off and dashed for a risky single. Pat Cummins, known for his sharp fielding skills, quickly gathered the ball and unleashed a precise throw straight at the stumps. His accuracy paid off as the ball hit the target, dismissing Pandya who was well short of his crease. Pandya’s dismissal for 24 runs off 21 balls, which included two sixes, was a significant blow for LSG as it sent back both set batters within just eight balls.
