Kohli’s performance in IPL 2024

In the current IPL season, Kohli has emerged as one of the top performers, leading the charts as the highest run-scorer with 542 runs in 11 matches. The 35-year-old cricketer has registered one century and four half-centuries, maintaining an outstanding average of 67.75.

After his exceptional performances this year, Kohli earned a spot in India’s 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. However, there is speculation surrounding his batting position in India’s XI. While some advocate for Kohli to open alongside Rohit Sharma in the prestigious tournament, a combination they have only used once in this format, others prefer the Indian stalwart to maintain his position at number three in the batting order.
