Following this, the heartwarming exchange between Kohli and the young cricketers gained traction on social media. Throughout the encounter, the celebrated Indian cricketer displayed his sense of humour by sharing jokes and conversing effortlessly in Punjabi.

After his exceptional performances this year, Kohli earned a spot in India’s 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup 2024. However, there is speculation surrounding his batting position in India’s XI.
